i'm kind of worried about this hurricane. for those of you from TN who are reading this, the big green thing is the hurricane, and i have marked where i live.. i think i may very well be screwed.
i just got back from canada. here's pictures!
these bitches were like 4 feet away from me when i took this picture.
canada has pretty relaxed drug laws. the cat on the bench had a joint in his hand, woot! thats my cousin jay jay on the left, my 13 year old brother (who is like 4 times as big as me) to the right, and two other canadian bums to my bro's right.
where i was at, they have a big tradition of doing something called bathtub races. basically they make a hull out of fiberglass and put a fiberglass bathtub in it and attach it to a motor. pretty gay, but it's canada.
the view from our window.
lauren needs to post in here more often.. no one reads the shit i post, haha. anyway, no cute girls in canada except for the tourists.. as ben put it, 'god doesn't make em as good anywhere else in the world.' referring to the good ole US, of course.
OH PS- i was really impressed with kerry's speech at the DNC. also, the bush adminstration just said that the budget deficit is 'only' going $450,000,000,000 this year. what the fuck? that's the worst deficit ever in the history of our nation, why would I be possibly be excited for that?
This is Lauren Kennedy in for Alex Land.
Hey guys! How is everyone doing? I'm irritated... not for any specific reason, just because. Today is my mom's birthday, so we're having a little barbecue with some of her friends. I haven't been doing much for that past couple of days... Matt, Kevin, Ryan, and Katie came over yesterday for a little while. We made popcorn and hot pockets, yummy!
Tomorrow I have to go to Tarpon Leadership Academy and then to Dr. Scott's office to get x-rays of my jaw to get my wisdom teeth out. =( I'm not excited.
THIS JUST IN: Alex Land, who I am now speaking to via satellite, has asked me to inform his live journal reading audience that he has been in Canada for 3 days and has seen exactly 4 cute girls. He must be having a great time. Furthermore, he says that Canadian McDonald's have grilled cheese sammiches! Those lucky Canadians!
Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France today for the sixth time. He's athletic. His girlfriend is Sheryl Crow.
It's now time for Movie Reviews with Lauren!
On Friday, I saw The Bourne Supremacy, starring Matt Damon. While the fight and car exploding/crashing scenes were cool, I think that the camera crew might've found a tripod pretty handy. The easily nauseated may want to think twice before seeing this. I thought the first movie, The Bourne Identity, had better acting and a more well-developed plot, but I have to admit that Mr. Bourne is one smart cookie. I give this movie 3 stars out of 5.
I want to see Napoleon Dynamite. My dad liked it and said it was funny. It looks good.
I think of something really great to say the next time I update...
Until then, stay classy, San Diego.
If you're super bored, you can go here and look at some pictures of my vacation. Only if you want.
