i was talking to sean and he brought up a good point. i'm going to have the easiest senior year ever. that's pretty cool because most of my classes are not easy, so my composition class that i'm getting college credit for will be a breeze. i'm still so bummed about all this i can't really string words together for shit, so this probably is coming out pretty sketch.

today we got up, checked out of the hotel and went back to Punta Gorda. when i got off the interstate i saw the light poles bent over and it hit me again how bad this hurricane is. apparently we're the first family in deep creek to have a real roofing company come through and fix us up, so those people are probably rolling in dough right now. more ceiling collapsed in my parent's room while we were gone, but other then that the hosue was okay. i went around the lawn and picked up peices of the roof and just pretty much stacked everything. it sucks.

i picked up taylore and we went around the town. got a brick from CHS. anyway, im out.

i'm in a hotel by the outlet mall on 75 near tampa. we've got an extended stay suite closer to PG that we're moving to tomorrow, we'll be in there for about a week or so til everything chills out. my cell phone reception is fine, so holla if you need ot get ahold of me.. i can't call anyone, phones are all dead there so im scared for my friends. i've tlaked to a few people that have come by and they're okay though.

i can't believe i was excited aobut school getting out yesterday, fuck everyone who told me this thing was going to be ilke a big thunderstorm.

we saw 'looters will be shot' spraypainted on these people's house on the way back from mom's college. edison held up well, btw which is pretty sweet. hell, CHS might be EHS for a little while, sean said we're probably not going to be back in school for like 3-4 weeks.


i am so dead tired and emotionally drained, it hasn't even been a full day since this guy hit but it feels like its been a week. i just hope and pray that no one's hurt and their shit isn't too wrecked.. taylore (who i just decided i kind of like, i think this may be a bad time to state that though) said she got a tree through the window, and ana's house is wrecked but i haven't really heard muhc else. i think james' house is tore up, but charlie and a few others are pretty good. i just wish cell phones were working so i could get ahold of my friends. :(

i think a lot of people might have died, no one knw that it was going to be this bad so i think a lot of the elderly people in their trailers might have stayed.. if they did, they got wrecked, we drove past a few on the way to the college and stuff and they were just smashed.

i'm scared for everyone, and i'm so damn tired. i've had a lot of friends from all over the country calling and emailing and its really touching that people from all over the place give a shit, and folks.. if you know a roofer call that guy and tell him to head down to PG. there is going to be a run on them.

i'm guessing mom knows some people, so i think we're oging to be okay, but hell, i'm such a useless kid that i dont even know how to patch a roof. we just left and hoped it wouldn't cave in.

I just invented the "Pitza". It's basically the sweetest thing ever to grace the table. You pretty much take spaghetti sauce (mine had pieces of steak in it) and cheese and put it between two pieces of pita bread. (I used whole wheat) Pop it in the microwave for a minute and you got yourself a meal.

Colby, ben and I decided to do some back to school shopping up in tampa, then catch the sox game. I told everyone to meet at 1 the night before. We finally left abouuut.. 3 or so. Good shopping abounded, I scored a pair of diesels i've been wanting forever. Now i've got one good pair of jeans, which is cool.. I can wear them out to fancy places just on the reasoning that they were not cheap. Hell, maybe i'll be one of those douchebags that rock a blazer and jeans. probably not.

went to the sox game afterwards, it was elite. and by elite i mean that the drays got spanked, and there were more boston fans there then there were tampa fans. woot.
these knuckleheads were like the stereotypical boston fans too, (except for gadow) which was cool. skinny little tattooed white guys in wifebeaters and shorts going 'YEAH MANNY' or whatever they have to cheer for. i actually like the red stockings though, i root for them over just abut anyone but the d rays.

after the game we went to see barbara and some other girl, i knew i couldn't compete with the big league game spitters (cool and ben) so i had a pretty cool talk with a couple friends of mine from TN on the phone outside. wow, i'm lame.

we spent the night at colby's house. he has the coldest effing room ever, i need to cop like 393 blankets or else i'm freezing the whole night. in the morning, we get up, eat smokehouse and go to the school so I can get my schedule in order. hopefully i'll get into DC comp (with perry i guess?), which would make me super happy.

PS- ALWAYS do valet parking at tampa international mall. It costs like 5 bucks, depending on how generous you are. (three dollars fee, and a two dollar tip) Plus you get the benefit of R0LL1NG 33s 0N DUB5Z!!!!!!!!!11 in front of a bunch of cuties. but only if you're in coolby's rig.

i'm kind of glad I missed warped tour, there's two stages right? i dont know what the lineups for the two stages were, but i'm assuming they had a good (harder bands who haven't sold out) stage, and a bad (new found glory) stage. most of my friends would be scoping out the latter, leaving me alone to get my ass kicked in the pit at the good music place.

canada has pretty relaxed drug laws.  the cat on the bench had a joint in his hand, woot!  thats my cousin jay jay on the left, my 13 year old brother (who is like 4 times as big as me) to the right, and two other canadian bums to my bro's right.

 

where i was at, they have a big tradition of doing something called bathtub races.  basically they make a hull out of fiberglass and put a fiberglass bathtub in it and attach it to a motor.  pretty gay, but it's canada.

Hey guys! How is everyone doing? I'm irritated... not for any specific reason, just because. Today is my mom's birthday, so we're having a little barbecue with some of her friends. I haven't been doing much for that past couple of days... Matt, Kevin, Ryan, and Katie came over yesterday for a little while. We made popcorn and hot pockets, yummy!

Tomorrow I have to go to Tarpon Leadership Academy and then to Dr. Scott's office to get x-rays of my jaw to get my wisdom teeth out. =( I'm not excited.

THIS JUST IN: Alex Land, who I am now speaking to via satellite, has asked me to inform his live journal reading audience that he has been in Canada for 3 days and has seen exactly 4 cute girls. He must be having a great time. Furthermore, he says that Canadian McDonald's have grilled cheese sammiches! Those lucky Canadians!

On Friday, I saw The Bourne Supremacy, starring Matt Damon. While the fight and car exploding/crashing scenes were cool, I think that the camera crew might've found a tripod pretty handy. The easily nauseated may want to think twice before seeing this. I thought the first movie, The Bourne Identity, had better acting and a more well-developed plot, but I have to admit that Mr. Bourne is one smart cookie. I give this movie 3 stars out of 5.

I want to see Napoleon Dynamite. My dad liked it and said it was funny. It looks good.

I think of something really great to say the next time I update...

Hey y'all, this is Lauren Kennedy in for Alex Land. He's on vacation. What's goin on? i just got back from Miami. I went with my mom to visit UM and FAU. Miami was really awesome! FAU was okay, but not really for me. Well, since I don't have anything much more interesting to stay, I'll just start saying whatever pops into my head. -My dog is cute. Her name is Madison. -Do you remember Tomagatchi's? I think that's how you spell it. Well anyway, I used to have one, and when I got tired of it, my sister and I went outside and smashed them in the driveway with a hammer. tee hee it was fun. -Have you ever seen Chicago? It's a good movie. I love all the sons from it, especially Cell Block Tango. HE RAN INTO MY KNIFE.. HE RAN INTO MY KNIFE 10 TIMES! haha go murderers! not really. -How do people think of what to write in these things? -Does anyone who's reading this know who Courtney McCool is? Well anyway.. she's a gymnast on the Olympic team at Athens this year! And I know her! She's from Missouri, where I used to live, and goes to the same gymnastics place I used to go to. Apparently, according to my mom, I used to go over to her house and play on her trampoline all the time. Man, that means I'm practically famous. - I wish I had enough money to bid on the stuff I really want on eBay. I bid on two things, and I almost got them, until the very end of the bidding thing and the jeans I wanted went up to like, 65 dollars! Geeze. Stupid ebay.
